PlayPark

There is a playing field known as the Play Park situated off Main Street and adjacent to the school. This is leased from the Leicester Diocesan Board of Finance on a 20-year lease expiring on 3rd October 2016. The Play Park is used by the school and younger children and has been managed up to February 2009 by the Stathern Recreation Association (SRA), a village charity set up primarily to carry out this function and which from time to time organises village events. There is currently a move to incorporate the SRA as a sub-committee of the Parish Council.
